The Junior Level 5 Diploma is a fifteen-hour course designed for coaches working with U11 and older teams.  This course meets STYSA Coaching Certification requirements for all Texas competitions.  The course covers technical and tactical training for youth players.  Coaches observe, prepare and present field sessions over a two-day curriculum designed for practical application with older youth teams.  Candidates should already hold the NSCAA Youth Level 2 or USSF Youth Module certificate before taking this class.

The Youth Level 2 Diploma is a five-hour course directed toward the person newly involved in coaching soccer. This diploma satisfies all STYSA certification requirements for coaching NASA youth soccer. Special emphasis is placed on understanding the physiological and psychological differences of coaching children. The curriculum focuses on the organization of a practice session, using small-sided games to enhance knowledge and fun, basic understanding of the Laws of the Game and information about the care and prevention of injuries. There is no testing in the Youth Level II Diploma.

Fees for NASA Coaches are paid directly by NASA.  Completed Registration Forms are required for all coaches.
