STYSA/CAYSA/NASA Required Adult Criminal Background Check
Effective Fall 2003 per STYSA Rule #3.12 Adult Criminal Background Checks: All coaches, assistant coaches, managers, trainers, volunteer administrators, board members, and staff/employees over the age of 17 must have successfully completed the bi-annual on-line STYSA Adult Background Check. The background check will include records from 44 state criminal data bases and 34 state sex offender data bases.
PLEASE, follow the below procedures:
NOTE: You must have your drivers licence number and expiration date to complete the background check
Print and PLEASE Read The Below Instructions Before Submitting Your Background Check
Instructions are for New Coaches that did NOT do it for the Fall 2007 season.
Go to the Welcome to North Austin Soccer Alliance Screen:
Welcome to NASA Screen:
- DO NOT "login" on the left side of the screen
- Select "Registration" tab above "Welcome to...."
New Application - Registration Type Screen:
- Under "Registration Type" - Select "Coaching Registration" and select "continue"
Account Verification Screen:
- Select either
New User (Coach): "Option 3" and select "Create New Account"
or
Returning User (Coach): "Option #1 or Option #2"
New Account Creation (Primary Account Contact) Screen:
- Enter Name, Address, City, State, Zip, E-mail
- Username - please use your first initial and last name (in lower case - ie: rjacobsen or rjacobsen1)
- Password - please use "nasasoccer" (in lower case)
Note: If you use these, I will be able to login and add coaching license and other information at a later date
- Select "Create New Account"
Family Member List Screen:
- Select "Coach / Admin"
- Verify your name
- Select type of relationship
- Enter DOB
- Select Gender
- Team Assignment Code - Leave This Field Blank
- Select "continue"
Coach/Administrator Application Screen:
- Select Play Level: (U5-U10 - select "Rec D4") or (U11 and Above - select Rec D3) or (D2 or Super 2)
Note: Administrators or Referees can select "Rec D3"
- Select "create application"
Coach/Administrator Detail Screen:
- Enter Driver License Number
- Select State
- Enter Driver License expiration date
- Enter Coaching Experience and License Number (ie: NSCAA State Diploma (U5-U10) Sep 9, 2007 Austin Tx)
- Select Level of Play
- Select Position
- Select "continue"
Registration Summary Screen:
- Verify information and Select "continue"
Your Registration has been submitted..... Screen:
- Read info - there is nothing for you to sign - "so far"
- Select "Sign Out Here" under "My Account" on left side of screen
Send an e-mail when you have completed the registration to rick@jfservices.com.
After clearance (may take up to a week):
- Your KidSafe number and name will be printed on an "Adult/KidSafe Pass"
- View the KidSafe Ready List to see if yours is ready for pickup
- You will need to put your picture on the back and laminate it.
- The 'Adult/KidSafe Pass' must be worn at practices, games, or any activity where players are present
