Adult SoccerNASA runs a regular co-ed pick-up soccer game for adults most Sunday evenings. These CO-ED pick-up game are perfect for adult players wanting to combine fitness with recreational sports fun in a relaxed setting. There are no team commitments or season fees. Adult players donate to the fields each time they play. 100% of the funds raised go to field projects. New players are always welcome. Parents and friends of NASA and RCR are especially welcome. She coached her first team as a high school senior. After graduating high school Coach Elliott moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas where she played for the UT Women’s Club team --there was no varsity soccer at UT in those days! She graduated with a degree in Education and spent the next 10 years teaching in AISD and coaching the varsity girls soccer team at Reagan High School. She also played soccer in the Austin Women’s league for many years. Coach Elliott has 3 daughters. When her oldest daughter was old enough to play, at age 4, Coach Elliott began coaching her teams. She has been coaching one of her daughters' teams ever since: sometimes with NASA and sometimes with the YMCA. For the past three years, Coach Elliot has been coaching her oldest daughter's team. Last season, this NASA U11 team finished 2nd at the CAYSA post season tournament! Coach Elliott loves the game, loves teaching and especially loves to help others learn to love the game as well. She holds a USSF "D" License. |
