VOLUNTEERS

NASA is a local not-for-profit organization and it's run by dedicated volunteers. Every year, around 2,000 children in Austin, play soccer with our club.

Our volunteers make NASA great

NASA has various on-field and behind-the-scenes volunteer roles to choose from that help support our grassroots model. Whether you are a passionate soccer supporter or new to the sport all together, please consider signing up to contribute a small amount of time and energy in a volunteer role that fits your interest and availability. NASA will provide guidance to support all of our volunteers, no specific experience is necessary. New coaches will be provided a preseason grassroots coaching clinic, online training resources and ongoing support to help our coaches grow along with their teams.

Our team of volunteers help NASA to accomplish many things that are not be possible otherwise.

Families who are unable to or choose not to volunteer may pay a "volunteer buy-out" of $30 when they register.

Team volunteer roles require 1-2 hours per week to help your child's team: coach/assisstant coach, team manager/parent, gameday field duties

Club volunteer roles vary in time requirements from once-a-month meeting, to as little as three hours of general volunteering per season:
Board member
Preseason field lining
Shed cleanout/organizing
Equipment repair
Grass seeding/maintenance
Fundraising
Registration drives
School/community liaisons
In-person events
