NASA is a grassroots, not-for-profit organization run by a small staff and many dedicated volunteers. Every year, hundreds of children in Austin play soccer with our club.

At North Austin Soccer Alliance the emphasis is always on having fun while learning to play the game of soccer. Soccer is a wonderful social and recreational game that can be played with practically any number of players, and a minimum of equipment. Prepare your child for a lifetime of recreational and fitness opportunities playing the world's most popular sport!

Community
NASA is a grassroots, not-for-profit organization. It's run by primarily by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about helping children enjoy playing the beautiful game of soccer. Every year, hundreds children in the North Austin area play soccer with North Austin Soccer Alliance! NASA gives back to the community. We support our local schools financially through the "Partners in Education" program. We also maintain the fields on which we play, providing irrigation, fertilization, weed control, seeding, and mowing. NASA provides scholarships for children who wish to play soccer in our program, but cannot afford to do so.

Organization
Your child's practices will be held once per week (for children 10 an over, perhaps twice a week). For children aged 10 and under, games are held on Saturday mornings on the grounds of local schools (older children will sometimes have Sunday games). A complete game schedule is posted before the first game of every season.

Passion
NASA is passionate about the belief that everyone, regardless of their level of experience and ability, can enjoy playing the game of soccer. We emphasize player development and good sportsmanship, and we are not a "win at all costs" organization. Regardless of experience level, every player will play at least 50% of every game. NASA uses the "small sided game" format, so that even novice players can touch the ball plenty of times in every game.

Great Coaches

NASA Coaches are parents and other volunteers. We offer coaching courses free of charge to all our coaches. Many of our coaches go on to take more advanced coaching courses. Throughout the season, our parent coaches are supported by the professional training staff of Challenger Sports.

Challenger Sports coaches help to provide support, training and guidance to our volunteer coaches.  In addition to their regular team practice, NASA players can take advantage of a fun, weekly skills clinic lead by Challenger Sports.

NASA is a member of the Capital Area Youth Soccer Association and South Texas Youth Soccer Association.
