Registration is now open for Spring 2021 for the U11-19 age groups only. Click the button below to register. (Registration is not open for U10 and younger. The City of Austin and Austin ISD have not yet reopened the fields on which NASA teams in those age groups play.)
Unfortunately, this registration does not mean a full return to play. The Austin/Travis County health authorities still have the area under Stage 4 Covid-19 restrictions, a level at which we are not comfortable allowing practice or play.
Back in the summer, the NASA Board voted to only allow practices while at Stage 3, and to allow games only if the city dropped to Stage 2 or lower. (For an explanation of the city's risk-based guidelines and the various stages, click here.)
We are hopeful that, as vaccines against Covid-19 become more widely available, combined with proper hygiene, mask-wearing, and social distancing by the general public, we may be able to open up for play. However, we cannot make any promises.
If your children are only able to practice this season, we will offer a partial refund. If no soccer activities occur at all, we will offer a full refund.
Please be aware that we are also considering alternative options for play, such as small-sided games within NASA or play with modified rules. If you have suggestions, feel free to send them by replying to this message.
We appreciate your patience. We desperately want to return to the sport we love, and we believe it will happen this year if we all do our part.
